Supermarket in Sanya, Hainan, China has been fined for selling expired chicken wings

A supermarket in Sanya, Hainan, China sold for 9.9 yuan a bag of salted chicken wings, the expiration date of which passed, and was fined 10,000 yuan.


Earlier, the Market Supervision Bureau of Sanya received a complaint that Sanya Guangbaijia Trading Co., Ltd. (Guangbaijia supermarket) is suspected of selling food products labeled with incorrect production dates and exceeding shelf life.


After investigating the illegal activities of Sanya Guangbaijia Trading Co., Ltd. by printing a false production date, it was unclear and was not established, however, an illegal act of selling food products whose expiration date had expired was actually taking place, and food products that had expired were confiscated on-site bags of salted chicken wings.
