Consumer prices in Hainan, China in the first half of 2019 increased by 2.1% year on year

The research team of the National Bureau of Statistics of Hainan Province reported that consumer prices in the first half of 2019 rose by an average of 2.1% year-on-year, which is slightly higher than the average for China.


At the same time, consumer prices in Sanya and Haikou on Hainan Island increased by 2.2%, while consumer prices in villages increased by 1.8%.


Consumer prices for food products in Hainan Island increased by 3.0%, while consumer prices for non-food products increased by 1.8%, consumer prices for services increased by 2.4% on average.
