The Irish National Pavilion will open at the Consumer Expo 2021 on Hainan Island, China from May 7-10, 2021. Back on February 18, 2021, in the port of Cork, Ireland, a batch of famous Irish products was loaded into containers and sent by ship. They are on display at the Irish National Pavilion of the first China International Consumer Goods Fair (hereinafter referred to as the Consumer Fair), and the destination of this trip is Hainan. The first Consumer Expo, which will be held in Hainan from May 7-10, welcomes the active participation of exhibitors from many countries and regions.


Among them, the Irish National Pavilion will be inaugurated at the first Consumer Expo, which will feature many of Ireland's renowned and quality products. Supported by embassies and consulates, the Irish-Chinese Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with Enterprise Ireland and other institutions to organize the trademark exhibit in the form of the Irish National Pavilion. Currently, 13 brands have chosen to take part in the show, including dairy products such as Irish baby milk powder, whiskey, gin and other alcoholic beverages, maternity and infant supplies and daily necessities, as well as famous products such as wool products.


To transport exhibits to the Hainan International Exhibition Center, where the first Consumer Expo was held, some Irish exhibitors recently moved their exhibits to a bonded warehouse near Port Cork, then set off from Port Cork on February 18 for shipment. its exhibits in Haikou, Hainan port.


Exhibitors said that the Chinese market is very large and the consumer fair tax exemption policy is very attractive. They hope to use the consumer fair platform to nudge brands to enter the Chinese market faster and better serve the needs of Chinese consumers. “The Consumer Fair has added vitality and hope for the development of the Sino-Irish economy and trade. It will become a world renowned professional exhibition and a highlight of the Hainan Free Trade Port, ”said Wang Zhidong, President of the Irish Chinese organization.
