In Russia entered into force a comprehensive ban on smoking in public places

A complete ban on smoking in public places takes effect in Russia from June 1, 2014. Law "On protection of public health from exposure to environmental tobacco smoke and the consequences of tobacco consumption" was adopted in 2013. It provides for the introduction of stringent measures against smoking in stages.
