On the "big deal" with Russia, which failed Trump

The road to hell is paved with good intentions - this truth on your own skin is now comprehended by Donald Trump. For the good intention to conclude a "big deal" with Russia, the American press arranged a personal hell for its president. For a day without a scandal, the determination of the new owner of the Oval Cabinet to undermine the election promises was drastically reduced.

Simple actions were replaced by complex maneuvers. And Russia - not for the first time already - turned out to be just a pawn in someone else's game of the Washington elite. Hawks can triumph.

Transactions with the devil will not happen by the Kremlin.

Due to the ongoing scandals and new accusations of the White House advisers in secret relations with Moscow, President Donald Trump can for a long time freeze plans for establishing relations with Russia. According to the Associated Press, the US Presidential Administration is not going to discuss in the near future with the Kremlin the strategy of joint struggle against the "Islamic state" and other projects related to national security.

This means that even in those areas where American and Russian interests somehow coincide, there will be no breakthroughs, not even negotiations. Instead, Washington is slowly beginning to look for ways to retreat. In February, representatives of the US administration accused Russia of violating the 1987 treaty on medium-range and shorter-range missiles. Last week, President Trump remembered this agreement, saying that Moscow's demonstrative deployment of new missiles could hamper the improvement of bilateral relations.

A few weeks earlier, the US President Administration and European officials agreed on the need to maintain sanctions against Russia until the Minsk agreements were fully implemented. Then, in the comments from the White House, the signals in the conditional mood began to sound. "If President Trump can make a deal with Russia, he will go for it ... If it's in the US interest, he'll go to the deal," said presidential spokesman Sean Spicer

And now news comes that Washington wants to reconsider its approaches to relations with Moscow. At the moment, the decision as to what kind of policy the White House will take with regard to Russia has not yet been taken, and the discussion of this problem "is at an early stage," the Voice of America said, citing an unnamed high-ranking administration official. But the very fact of the beginning of such discussions speaks volumes.

For its part, Russia, too, did not ease Donald Trump's fulfillment of his election promises. Regular incidents involving Russian military aircraft, which the West considered provocative, demonstrative recognition of LCN and DNR passports, condemned by all partners, turbid cases with obligations under the INF Treaty - in the current situation this is more than enough to prepare preparations for a "big deal" on A long pause.

It is possible that the preservation of the habitual scarecrow of the insidious America meets the pre-election interests of the Kremlin. But is it in the interests of Russia?
