SWIFT is ready to share its experience with the Bank of Russia
"Bank of Russia in December 2014 provided the credit institutions a new service for the transmission of financial messages in SWIFT format at domestic operations. Connection is carried out by the banks of the relevant agreement with the Bank of Russia", - said the report of the Central Bank.

The regulator said that the new service will allow credit institutions to transmit messages in SWIFT format by the Bank of Russia in all regions and without restrictions.

"The new service is implemented in order to ensure smooth and safe transfer of financial messaging within the country and is another step in the direction of improving the system of services provided by the Bank of Russia", - said the Bank of Russia.

Head of the department of the national payment system CBR Alla Bakin said in November that the established banks Russian analogue of interbank transfers SWIFT prices on the transfer of financial messaging will be comparable with similar services in the market.

Pass through SWIFT payment orders for more than $ 6 trillion, it involves more than 10,000 financial institutions in 210 countries. By statute SWIFT, in each country participating in the system, to create a national group members and users SWIFT. In Russia, such an organization is "ROSSWIFT."
