Permanent representatives of the EU countries with the Union (Coreper) will continue on Friday to discuss the possible extension of sanctions against Russia in connection with the Ukrainian crisis. In late July, the EU and the United States from the point of sanctions against certain individuals and companies have moved to measures against entire sectors of the Russian economy. In response, Russia has restricted food imports from countries that have imposed sanctions against it: the United States, the EU member states, Canada, Australia and Norway.
