Thomson Reuters has published a list of the most likely candidates for the Nobel Prize in 2012. The list of candidates drawn up in four major categories - physics, chemistry, economics, physiology and medicine, based on the calculation of the index of citations (based on the database of Web of Knowledge) of every scientist in the scientific press and fundamental scientific discoveries, made by these scientists. According to Thomson Reuters, the leading candidates for the Nobel Prize in Physics is Charles Bennett, Gilles Brassard and William Wootters - for creating of practical tools for quantum teleportation between objects of a microcosm. The Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine major candidates are David Allis and Michael Grunstein for a number of discoveries in the field of epigenetics. On the Nobel Prize in Chemistry claimed Akira Fujishima from the University of Tokyo for the discovery of new ways to use of titanium dioxide. The Nobel Prize in economics leading candidate is Robert Shiller, who predicted the collapse of the real estate market in the U.S.. Nobel Prize 2012 will be determined in the period from October 8, 2012 to October 15, 2012.
