Russian scientists have created a device to repel of sharks

According to Alexander Becker, director of the Engineering School of the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU), scientists of this famous Russian University were able to create a special sonar device, that repels of sharks. According to Alexander Becker, the device will be able to make the beaches safe for swimming, as it is device can be used for environmental purposes, such as oil field, to prevent the access of fish to the water intake. The principle of sonar devices to scare away of sharks is based on the propagation of sound waves, a special frequency, that make of sharks leave the location of this device. Researchers emphasize the fact, that this device is environmentally friendly and in the case of successful testing, will be set up to mass production.

Scientists from the University of North Carolina, led by Alper Bozkurt, were able to create a device for control of most famous insect on the planet- a cockroaches. According to Alper Bozkurt, a special microchip which is attached to the back of a cockroach can reliably completely remote to manage the movement of the insect. This chip combines a miniature transceiver with miniature electric pulse generator, whicho plays the role of "electric spurs", that cause cockroach move in the direction, that is needed to man. According to Alper Bozkurt, this device will be used not only in rescue operations to find people in the wreckage of buildings by miniature size cockroaches, but also for military intelligence purposes.
