Water and ocean life can be inside Triton, Neptune's moon- VIDEO
Thursday, 06 September 2012 18:59

As reported in an article, which was published in the Icarus magazine, a group of astrophysicists led by Saswata Hier-Majumder from the University of Maryland at College Park, USA,- under the surface of Triton, the Neptune's moon for several billion years, the ocean can be a mixture of warm water and liquid hydrocarbons. According to Saswata Hier-Majumder - under the icy surface of Triton, which is the largest satellite of Neptune, the shape of the orbit of Triton and Neptune tidal forces create sufficient conditions for Triton's interior heating, the temperature of which would be acceptable to find a mixture of water and hydrocarbons under Triton's surface as a liquid. The VIDEO: http://hainanwel.com/en/unusual-world/1 ... ptune.html
