2011 Hainan Island International Regatta Race will be held on March 22,2011. Organizers of Hainan Island International Regatta Race have set themselves the task of introducing modern formats and methodologies for the this sailing races, as the competition, based on the principles of professionalism and fair play are the platform to attract leaders of the global yachting industry to support the development of yachting in the Hainan Island. The regatta will be held on International rules of sailing races, judging by a professional panel of judges. Thank you for posting information about the upcoming Hainan international regatta!
This is the second Haikou - Sanya race for yachts. I found out about last year's event AFTER the race.
I can't understand why the organizers apparently do not publish details in English on the Internet.
It seems that the recent Sanya Boat Show suffered from the same problem.
Does anyone know who the organizers are and how they can be contacted?
I would like to participate, but I have no idea how to go about expressing my interest!

Is the Hainan Yachting Association promoted by sailors for sailors?
I certainly hope so, since it would be good to have an interest group of "users".
I have nothing against the marina projects promoted by property developers. In general, the facilities are excellent, but they almost always fail to meet the understood definition of a club: FOR the members, BY the members.

On our website we have repeatedly reported about the Hainan Island International Regatta Race (2011 Tour of Hainan International Regatta), which will involve 17 teams from China, Hong Kong, USA, UK, Australia, France, Finland, Denmark and Norway.

2011 Tour of Hainan International Regatta will be held from March 20, 2011 to March 26, 2011. The length of the Regatta will be 269 nautical miles, the Tour of Hainan International Regatta attracting 17 sailing boats and 200 sailors. Prize money for the winner of Regatta will be 200,000 yuan(RMB).
