Cuba: Havana is preparing for the XI Choral Festival
One of the most interesting academic and musical events in the world - the Havana International Choir Festival (XI Festival Internacional de Coros de La Habana) - will be held from 1 to 5 July 2014 at the concert venues of the capital of Liberty Island.

During this period, there will not only hear the best performances by choirs from Ecuador, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Argentina and other countries of the world, but also to attend master classes in folk choral music and interesting entertainment. The program will also feature 12 Cuban ensembles, among them: Ensemble Vocal Luna, la Schola Cantorum Coralina, Vocal Imago, Audinis and el Polifónico de Pinar del Río.

The festival is held in Havana for the 11th time. This year's celebration will focus on the well-known Latin American musicians Leo Brouwer (Leo Brouwer), Carlos Fariñas (Carlos Fariñas), Frank Fernandez (Frank Fernández) and Guido Lopez-Gavilanu (Guido López-Gavilán).

Begin celebrations to mark the 400th anniversary of the first samurai in Cuba
Statue of Japanese samurai Hasekura Tsunenaga Japanese ambassador in Havana, Cuba announced the initiation of five concerts celebrations dedicated to the 400th anniversary of the arrival of a group of samurai to Cuba in 1614.
