Sigiriya Fortress (Lion's rock) is one of the main attractions of Sri Lanka and is a restored ruins of an ancient fortress and palace, located in the district of Matale. Fortress of Sigiriya surrounded by ancient ruins of gardens, reservoirs and buildings for household purposes. Fortress is a very popular destination among tourists from all over the world, because it is famous for its ancient frescoes, which are very similar to Indian frescoes of Ajanta caves.
