Prices for international air tickets purchased in October of this year in the Philippines, will include all fees and airport taxes.
This will help in the future to avoid the queue before boarding, which were created because of the need to pay taxes.
The administration of the Manila International Airport and international air carriers have signed an agreement under which all airport fees will be integrated into the cost of tickets.
Integrate duty in the price of the ticket was planned long ago. But, despite the objections of some airlines, July 1, 2014 was able to sign this agreement. By October of the following year, all payment terminals will be removed from the airport, said the general director of the Manila International Airport Jose Angel Honrado.
The agreement provides for the payment of the cost of services to airlines at a rate of 3.5 per cent of each collection - 550 pesos.
According to a rough estimate, Gonrado said that the Manila International Airport, in total, will pay about 150 mils. Peso 34 airlines for services.
Government annually, will save about 55 million. Pesos are paid for operations on the terminals. But have to give up 100 million. Peso "for the convenience of passengers," said Gonrad. Honrado also set rules for terminal benefits to pay for overseas Filipino workers, Muslim pilgrims, national athletes, the Philippine Sports Commission approved, as well as children under the age of two years.
