Tropical Depression Haima is coming to the Hainan Island, China Tuesday, 21 June 2011 19:51
According to the local weather stations, the center of tropical depression Haima, at the time of this writing, located 400 kilometers east of Hainan Island. Although at first it was assumed, that a tropical depression, which appeared a few days ago off the coast of the Philippines, will take away from the Hainan Island, but tropical depression unexpectedly turned to the west and is now expected, that tropical depression will reach to coast of Hainan Island on the evening of June 22, 2011. Therefore, rainfalls and wind gusts up to 75 km/h is very probably from June 22, 2011 to June 24, 2011 in Hainan Province, if the direction of tropical depression will not change. Recall, that a tropical depression is the initial stage of the typhoon, but transformation of a tropical depression Haima in the typhoon is unlikely. More news from Hainan Province can be found here:
