According to radiation monitoring in Hong Kong, the radiation level in Hong Kong is the 0.1 microsievert per hour (10 micro-roentgen per hour), with acceptable levels of background radiation-from 0,05 to 0,2 microsievert per hour. Thus, this levels of background radiation in Hong Kong is very low and more less, than the level of background radiation in New York,USA (on 28 March 2011, background radiation in New York is 0.145 microsievert per hour (14,5 micro-roentgen per hour). According to radiation monitoring in Hong Kong, the radiation level in Hong Kong Island is the 0.09 microsievert per hour (9 micro-roentgen per hour), the radiation level in Kowloon is the 0.13 microsievert per hour (13 micro-roentgen per hour), the radiation level in New Territories is the 0.11 microsievert per hour (11 micro-roentgen per hour), with acceptable levels of background radiation-from 0,05 to 0,2 microsievert per hour. Thus, this levels of background radiation in Hong Kong is very low and more less, than the level of background radiation in New York,USA.
