Scientists from the University of Hawaii at Manoa believe that the largest structures in the Universe is a huge hole, which could radically change the way humanity about the world.

According to scientists, if between our Galaxy and the area of ​​the CMB is a cold region, this means that there is a huge structure in which the material is much smaller than in the rest of the Universe (completely empty, it is not).

"Superpustota" is located in the constellation Eridanus in the southern hemisphere. Astronomers describe it as a hill, which is necessary to overcome the light from distant corners of the Universe on their way to Earth. Because of the accelerating expansion of the Universe "hill" increases in length until the light moves along its slopes. "Climbing" on the "hill" and then "down" with him, the light loses energy and slows down, its wavelength becomes larger, and this means that the object temperature is colder compared to other regions of the Universe.
