At the beginning of the year in Iceland was filmed with a camera unusual, when the background of a volcanic eruption in Vatnajökull National Park in the sky lit up the northern lights. In Iceland, because of frequent volcanic activity such natural phenomena occur almost every year. One of the most famous cases of a combination of lights and the glow from the activity of the volcano was erupting volcano Eyjafjallajökull in April 2010. Then the powerful activity of the volcano paralyzed air traffic in Europe. Activity Eyjafjallajökull at the time of occurrence of the northern lights dropped and the height of the lava fountains was only 300 meters, which made it possible to capture the unusual natural phenomenon.
