American company robotics Unlimited, based in Pensacola, Fla., has developed a fast remote-controlled robot, called OutRunner. Now representatives of the company raise funds on Kickstarter for serial production of the unusual invention. This robot can move on different types of terrain - on grass, dirt or asphalt. In standard configuration, the robot six telescopic shock absorbing " feet", three on each side. They allow the device to maintain balance on different surfaces. The base model is capable of accelerating to 16 miles per hour, has a height of 35 centimeters and a weight of 1.3 kilograms. Built-in battery lasts for an hour run. If the fundraising campaign is successful, this model will cost to anyone wanting to $ 250 (8800 rubles). Improved model OutRunner Performance, equipped with additional sensors , camera and Wi-Fi- module, capable of speeds up to 32 kilometers per hour. Its height is 60 inches, and weighs about 2300 grams. Included is as much as 12 feet (you can not use all - 6 , 8 or 10 ) . Battery life - 2 hours. robot is equipped with HD- camera, an accelerometer and a gyroscope . Price is $ 800 (28160 rubles). The team argues that the creation of gadget inspired them observing the behavior of wild animals, in particular the movement of their legs and weight distribution. The creators claim that their creation is extremely easy to use: the direction is specified using the remote control. In addition, you can manipulate it and use the application on your phone while viewing the video from the camera.
