Three ash explosions occurred in a short time on the volcano of Shiveluch, which is located in Ust- Kamchatka area of Kamchatka Krai, as reported by regional MOE. Second ash emission was recorded in less than an hour. His height was about 8.5 km above sea level. Another third , ash emission occurred at a height of 7 meters above sea level at 11:43 on Kamchatka time.Taking into account the wind direction, ash plumes from the second and third in a row of ash emissions spread westward from the volcano. However, the distance to the nearest town - village Anavgai - is 160 kilometers.
