According to Thomas Barclay from Ames Research Center in California, U.S., scientists of NASA for the first time been able to find a star system Kepler-37, one of the planets that have a record of all the small size of the detected exoplanets that are in a class of stellar systems, stars of the Sun. According to the journal Nature, in a star system Kepler-37 were opened three new exoplanets: Kepler-37b, Kepler-37c and Kepler-37d, which are moving around the star at a distance less than the diameter of the orbit of Mercury, with a period of 13, 21 and 40 days respectively. As reported the scientists, the planet Kepler-37b, the closest to the star, was the smallest of all the exoplanets that have been detected at all, or when its diameter is only 10 percent larger than the diameter of the Moon. According to Thomas Barclay, Kepler-37b belongs to the stone planets, the temperature on its surface is about 427 degrees Celsius, the diameter of the planet Kepler-37c is comparable to the diameter of Venus, and the diameter of the planet Kepler-37d in twice more the diameter of Earth, THE VIDEO:
