Scientists have created fragments of human kidney from iPS cells- VIDEO PDF Print E-mail

The website of Kyoto University reported, that scientists of the University of Kyoto, Japan for the first time in the world were able to create a human kidney tissue fragments from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS-cells). It is reported, that Japanese scientists have grown an iPS-cell cells, which are formed in the human embryo kidney, adrenal and sex cells, these cells scientists were able to create a natural kidney tubule through which blood is filtered, so this may be the first step to human kidney tissue culture. In 2006 in Kyoto University received stem cells from normal human skin cells, which are called induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS).
