Scientists demonstrated the wires from carbon nanotubes - VIDEO PDF Print E-mail

In the Science magazine published an article of a team of scientists from Rice University in Houston, USA, under the leadership of Matteo Pasquali, that U.S. physicists have created a new type of electric wires, based on carbon nanotubes. According to Matteo Pasquali, a new electrical wires like a normal black thread, but combines the properties of the metal wires and solid carbon tubes (see the video at the bottom of this article). Scientists managed to solve previously unsolvable problem and weave carbon nanotubes in conductive fibers, a new conductive wire is not worse, than the wires from aluminum, copper or gold, but nanocarbon filaments are much more flexible, robust and have high thermal conductivity, THE VIDEO:
