NASA suddenly launched a mission EUNIS for study of solar flares at December 15, 2012 before Doomsday PDF Print E-mail

Yesterday, at December 15, 2012, the space agency NASA launched a research unit within the mission EUNIS (Extreme Ultraviolet Normal Incidence Spectrograph), which must to collect a new information about solar activity and the state of the solar corona (see the video at the bottom of this article). The unit mission EUNIS (Extreme Ultraviolet Normal Incidence Spectrograph) was launched for the third time on the booster Black Brant IX of White Sands, New Mexico, USA. Within the six-minute stay in space, the unit EUNIS must every 1.2 seconds to make measurements of motion of matter in the solar corona, these data are not available on Earth, because the Earth's atmosphere absorbs an ultraviolet radiation from the Sun. The data obtained will be used for the determination of the solar eruptions, that are directed toward Earth, THE VIDEO:
