As reported by a representative of the Mission Control Center near Moscow (MCC-TsNIImash), the average altitude of the International Space Station (ISS) has been increased by almost 2.5 kilometers to create optimal conditions for the docking of manned spacecraft "Soyuz TMA-07M", the start should take place at December 19, 2012 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. It is also reported, that the correction of the ISS orbit was performed and to test the newest systems of emergency avoidance of debris ISS-PDAM (Pre-Determined Debris Avoidance Maneuver), which replaced the old system of evasion ISS from space debris DAM (Debris Avoidance Maneuver). To make an emergency change of the ISS orbit to be used motors Russian cargo ship "Progress" for 140 minutes to dangerous proximity with fragments of space debris.
