In Science magazine group of scientists from the University of Calgary, Canada under the direction of Darla Zelenitsky published an article, which argues that North American dinosaurs Ornithomimus edmontonicus had a feather cloak, making them the first feathered dinosaurs, that were found in the Western Hemisphere. As reported, Darla Zelenitsky and Francois Therrien from the Royal Museum of Paleontology in Drumheller, Canada carried out excavations in the basin of the Athabasca River in Alberta, which is located in north-western Canada. In sedimentary rocks in the province of Alberta were found three skeletons of North American dinosaurs (Ornithomimus edmontonicus), with two of the three skeletons have a feather cloak, that look like a feathers of modern birds, VIDEO:
