Steve Squyres, a famous scientist from NASA at yesterday announced the discovery of previously unknown spherical objects on the surface of Mars in the study of photographs, which were taken on the surface of Mars the Mars rover Opportunity rover. According to Steve Squyres, looking at one of the photos of Opportunity rover he had the feeling, that he looks at a scattering of blueberries (see the photo at the top of this article). However, the Mars berries are made of an unknown substance, and until scientists do not know of their origin. Steve Squyres is the American geologist and astronomer, professor at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. His area of research is planetology, with a focus on large solid bodies in the solar system, such as the terrestrial planets and satellites of the giant planets. Steve Squyres is the principal investigator of the project NASA Mars Exploration Rovers (MER). In 2004, Steve Squyres was awarded the Carl Sagan, in 2009 Carl Sagan Medal for excellence in planetary science. On October 28, 2010 Skvaers received a medal for his achievements as a researcher and professor.

On the official website of NASA in the section, devoted to the study of Mars, is located a very unusual picture that looks as the foot print left by the impact of human shoe (see the photo) - on the pictures are visible of traces of the soles and stone, located in the heel- strongly pressed into the Martian soil as a result of a recent power impact.

A few hours ago appeared on the Internet the video, on which can be seen on the surface of Mars of some dark structures, similar to terrestrial lakes (photos of these objects were taken by NASA space station on Mars), and an area of these objects are changing over time. Felipe Gomez from the Center for Astrobiology in Madrid, Spain, during a press conference in Madrid, reported the results of temperature measurements of the Martian surface using meteorographs REMS, which is used on the rover Curiosity. As said Felipe Gomez - the average temperature on the surface of Mars from the measurements were about 6 degrees Celsius during the day and minus 70 degrees Celsius at night, half the daily measurements of the temperature were above zero, which makes the climate on Mars is very similar to Earth's. These temperature readings are very surprised the scientists, as they were much higher than the values, that are expected to see the scientists. According to Felipe Gomez, the average daily temperature on the surface of Mars rise significantly on the Martian summer.

In the most recent photo, which was sent from Mars by Mars Curiosity Rover for NASA shows the image of Phobos, but near Phobos un the Martian sky are located a two dark little objects (see the photo), like the UFO, that NASA specialists have called the errors in image processing in the transmission of the this image to the Earth.

Looking at photos from Mars, which depicts a dark lakes of liquid and dry riverbed Martian streams and rivers (see the video), some researchers have concluded, that this liquid is not a water, but - conventional oil. For first, the liquid water on the surface of Mars can not exist because of the low-pressure of Martian atmosphere. Secondly, the Russian scientist Sokolov in 1889 proposed the hypothesis of cosmic origin of oil, according to the a starting material for the emergence of a hydrocarbon oil, contained in the gaseous envelope of the Earth even during her star status, and the pattern during the cooling of the Earth these hydrocarbons were absorbed by the molten magma, and later, as the formation of the Earth's crust the hydrocarbons penetrated the sedimentary rocks and the condensation of gaseous hydrocarbons and oil was obtained. Thus, if the hypothesis of Sokolova is true, the oil can not form only on Earth, but on Mars, and now, when researchers saw on Mars a dry riverbed streams and rivers, then in these streams and rivers flowe did not water, but- oil.
