Within the framework of intergovernmental co-operation between Russia and China agreed on the concept of creating advanced heavy helicopter. It is expected that a commercial contract for the joint development will be signed before the end of this year.   Russia expects to end the year sign an intergovernmental agreement with China and a commercial contract for the joint development of a heavy helicopter, he told reporters on Thursday the deputy head Industry and Trade Minister Andrei Boginsky. In early July, "Rostec" reported that Russia and China agreed on the concept of a new helicopter weighing 38 tons and 15 tons carrying capacity. "We are moving in two directions: a preparation of an intergovernmental agreement on the creation of this helicopter and the formation and signing of commercial contracts. We expect that by the end of the year, both the document will be prepared and signed, "- said Boginsky. According to him, this issue may be discussed with China in the framework of MAKS-2015 in ZhUKovsky near Moscow. Holding "Rostec" "Helicopters of Russia" and the China Aviation Industry Corporation (AVIC) in May signed a framework agreement on cooperation on the project of advanced heavy helicopter. According to the document, the parties will cooperate in all areas of development and pre-production of a new heavy helicopter Advanced Heavy Lift (AHL). The demand for a new car in China can be expected to create more than 200 helicopters in the period until 2040. The helicopter will be adapted for around the clock operation in a hot climate, in highlands, and in all weather conditions
