According to the journal Nature Geoscience, scientists from Institute of Technology from Chiba City, Japan argues, that the main cause of the mass extinction of the dinosaurs 65.5 million years ago was that the world's oceans has been dramatically oxidized by sulfur compounds from the atmosphere and acid rain after the fall of an asteroid in the area of modern Yucatan Peninsula, where stayed a crater in 180 kilometers.
