At 221 conference of the American astronomical community in Long Beach, United States was reported, that a group of astronomers, led by Howard Bond from Pennsylvania State University with a telescope "Hubble" found, that the star-subgiant HD 140283, which is located relatively close to our Sun, is the oldest stars in the Universe, the age of the star-subgiant HD 140283 is over 13.2 billion years. HD 140283 belongs to the rare class of stars, subgiants, it is located at a distance of 186 light years off Earth, THE VIDEO:
