In the Biology Letters magazine appeared an article of a group of scientists from the University of Washington in Seattle, USA, under the direction of Sterling Nesbitt, that in the collection of the Historical Museum of London were found the remains of the ancient dinosaur Nyasasaurus parringtoni, who lived on the territory of contemporary Tanzania in the middle of the Triassic period, about 243 million years ago, making a dinosaur Nyasasaurus parringtoni on 10-15 million years older, than of all other dinosaurs. According to Sterling Nesbitt, dinosaur bones of Nyasasaurus parringtoni were unexpectedly discovered in the process of studying the collection of fossils in the National History Museum in London, where the attention of scientists was attracted by six vertebrae of reptile, that were found in the sediments of the Middle Triassic in Tanzania in 1934 by famous British paleontologist. In the analysis of bones was found, that the bones belonged to a previously unknown primitive dinosaur of average size, which scientists named as Nyasasaurus parringtoni. Place of discovery of dinosaur Nyasasaurus parringtoni led scientists to hypothesize, that the southern part of Pangea, Gondwana was the homeland of the dinosaurs, THE VIDEO:
