A few days ago, a many media reported, that the space agency NASA is preparing to make a stunning statement about the new historical discoveries on Mars, which should enter into the "history books." However, in the interview, given by John P. Grotzinger, representative of the NASA space agency, does not contain any specific information, but John P. Grotzinger in an interview said, that the rover Curiosity found on Mars a previously unknown minerals, probably- calcium carbonate (CaCO3), which on Earth are often found in shells of marine animals and their fragments, called as coquina. Therefore, it is possible, that the rover Curiosity on Mars could find a piece of sea shell, which may be indicative of the existence on Mars a complex biological life in that distant time, when there was a water.
