In an electronic library of Cornell University, published an article of the Japanese physicists, led by Atsushi Shiraki from the National College of Technology in Kisaratsu, Japan, that they managed to create the world's cheapest holographic microscope, costing only 234 U.S. dollars. As reported, the budget version of the holographic microscope is composed of parts, that are available in stores: high-power LED, webcam, solid state semiconductor lasers and free software, which include graphics library OpenCV, developed by Intel, and an open optical library CWO + + , which was established at the University of Chiba, Japan.
