Russia sends to New York, United States a humanitarian aid for the victims of Hurricane Sandy PDF Print E-mail

As reported today the press-service of EMERCOM of Russia (Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia) – on tomorrow, November 13, 2012, Russia will send to the city of New York a humanitarian aid for victims of the hurricane Sandy. Departure of two Il-76 MOE laden are scheduled for Monday from Ramenskoye airfield, Moscow Region, Russia, which will be delivered to the U.S. more than 50 tons of humanitarian cargo. Russian Emergency Situations Minister Vladimir Puchkov instructed to consider issues of emergency humanitarian response to help a countries, which were hit by the hurricane Sandy. Earlier, Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia has already provided humanitarian aid to Cuba, sending to Cuba a few planes with humanitarian aid.
