Mexican President Felipe Calderon has opened for tourist visits a new archaeological site Atzompa in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. It is assumed, that before there was the pre-Hispanic city of Monte Alban, where was the place of residence of the priests and rulers of the Mexican Indian of Zapotec. In the archaeological zone Atsompa (Atzompa) are located mounds, buildings and places of worship of Zapotec, and three areas for ball games and three vault older than 1100 years, decoration by wall paintings. The total area of the archaeological site of Atsompa (Atzompa) is about four square km, THE VIDEO:
