Dzibilchaltun (Tsiibil Chaaltun) - is a Mayan archaeological site (Zona Arqueologica Dzibilchaltun), which is located in the Mexican state of Yucatan, 16 kilometers to the north of the city of Merida (see the map at the top of this article). According to archaeologists, in the Dzibilchaltun city the Mayans lived several hundred years, now survived several structures, related to the flowering of the Mayan civilization on the Yucatan Peninsula. The most famous monument is the Mayan "Temple of the Seven Dolls" (see the photo) which received its name was due to seven small decorative dolls, which archaeologists found in the ruins of the pyramid near the Mayan "Temple of the Seven Dolls".
