Rome Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino Airport (FCO) handles approximately 30 million yearly travellers, with many further millions of visitors and a total of 300,000+ air operations. Fiumicino Airport is around 30 km / 19 miles south-west of central Rome and is sited within the small fishing town of Fiumicino, alongside the shoreline of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
