Buckwheat diet for 21 days

Buckwheat diet is a unloading nutrition method, in which the whole day you need to eat exclusively or predominantly buckwheat porridge (depending on the option chosen). Losing weight on buckwheat can be strict - in the form of a mono-diet - or more sparing, in which other components are added to the diet, in addition to cereals, most often fermented milk products and fruits.

To sustain 21 days on one porridge and water is rather difficult and unsafe for health. Therefore, for this duration, it is usually recommended to follow a diet with additional products.

The effectiveness of weight loss in this case will be somewhat lower: if for 3 weeks on buckwheat monodity you can lose 10-15 kg of excess weight, then with more varied nutrition, the plumb is usually 6-8 kg.

Essence and rules

For any variant of buckwheat slimming, the following rules must be observed:

Strict Option

If you observe a buckwheat mono-diet during the day, you can eat any amount of buckwheat porridge, but usually enough volume, prepared from 1 cup of cereals. Nutritionists do not recommend adhering to this method of nutrition for more than 1 week. Options for a gentle diet

To make the menu less stressful for the body, it is recommended to use kefir 0-1% fat, but not more than 1 liter per day (1.5 liters if the product is fat-free). This drink can be consumed with porridge or separately (alternately), and also replace them with boiling water when cooking buckwheat.

There is also another kind of 21-day buckwheat diet with a more varied menu. The power plan will be as follows:

Days 1, 2 - on a strict mono-diet (can be added with 0.5 liters of kefir);
Days 3-6 - vegetables (200 g), 2 unsweetened fruits and 50 grams of cottage cheese are added to the diet, and the volume of buckwheat porridge is reduced;
Day 7 - 1 egg and 100 g of chicken breast are added to the previous menu.
This weekly menu is repeated 3 times. As a result, you can significantly lose weight, without creating a lot of stress for the body.
